In "[[Do You Believe In Magic?]]," Johnson asks Luigi to repair his high school bowling trophy. Luigi agrees, but when he leaves to find a repair manual, Mario returns home and throws away a bunch of metal refuse on the same table that the trophy is on. At some point before Luigi's return Mario ended up using the trophy, not realizing its importance, to stir spaghetti sauce. Luigi returns and when he cannot find the trophy on the table, he and Mario assume that the trophy was thrown into the furnace and proceeded to create a new trophy.
