King K. Rool | King K. Rool returns in Donkey Kong Countrys semi-sequel on the Game Boy, Donkey Kong Land. In this game, Cranky Kong calls up K. Rool and demands he return to Donkey Kong Island to re-steal Donkey Kong's banana hoard because he was jealous over Donkey Kong, and because he earlier made a bet with Donkey and Diddy that they can't succeed with lesser graphics. In this game, K. Rool is fought in K. Rool's Kingdom, a blimp above Big Ape City, where his attacks are mostly the same as his techniques in Donkey Kong Country: running, jumping, and throwing his crown, although he does use a new, belly flop-like attack once he takes six hits. After 12 hits total, King K. Rool is defeated and Donkey Kong once again reclaims his banana hoard. | ||
