Before breaking out as a comedian, Morton worked as a voice director in the late 80's and early 90's on animated shows, most produced by [[DIC Entertainment]]. He was the voice director of all of DiC's ''[[Super Mario (franchise)|Super Mario]]'' animated series, and also played incidental roles on ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'' and ''[[The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3]]''. Outside of his work on DiC's Mario cartoons, Greg Morton was also voice actor and voice director on series such as ''{{Wp|ALF Tales}}'', ''{{wp|COPS (animated TV series)|COPS}}'', ''{{Wp|Stunt Dawgs}}'', ''{{Wp|Hammerman}}'', and the DiC episodes of ''{{Wp|Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (1990 TV series)|Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures}}'', among others.
