When prompted by the [[Spirit of Cuteness]], [[Yoshi]] ate the apples and returned the Egglings to their old selves. 

There are at least 100 Egglings; they come in three sizes and twenty varieties, including Gold, Silver, Pearl, Zebra, Panda, Tiger, Leopard, Giraffe, Squirrel, Cow, Snake, Turtle, Bee, Deer, Dove, Flamingo, Raccoon, Owl, Angel, and Bear. Each individual Eggling also has a name; their names are puns based on their type.
