At the Dojo, Cranky Kong is training himself for his upcoming game ''Cranky Kong Country''. If [[Dixie Kong|Dixie]] and [[Kiddy Kong]] drop by, they can assist Cranky in a round of training. Playing as Cranky, the player must utilize a shield to protect Cranky against an ambush of thirty [[Bristles]]. As the Bristles bounce towards Cranky, he must aim his shield at them to deflect their attacks. If Cranky can deflect all thirty Bristles, he will reward the [[Kong]]s with several [[Banana]]s, a [[Bear Coin]], an [[Extra Life Balloon]] and, the first time he clears it, a [[Banana Bird]].

Cranky's Dojo does not exist in the Super Nintendo version of the game. Instead, Cranky can be found competing against the Kongs at [[Swanky's Sideshow]].
