In ''[[Donkey Konga]]'', numerous Banana Birds sometimes hop around the lower part of the screen while the player performs a song.
In ''[[Donkey Konga]]'', many Banana Birds hop around the lower part of the screen while Donkey Kong plays a song. They only act as scenery and have no in-game effect. Banana Birds appear in every musical performance mode ("Street Performance", "Challenge", and "Jam Session"). Only a few hop around the screen in "Jam Session".
 
Banana Birds are not featured in multiplayer mode, as the bottom portion is reserved for the second player ([[Diddy Kong]]).
